Product details and Pricing:
- All products listed on the website are subject to change at any given point in time. Purchase of a product is subject to availability of the stock.
- We reserve the right to discontinue, modify or suspend any product listed on our website.
- There may be a slight variation in the product specifications (size, color, etc.) as they are approximate values.
- The message on the complimentary message card can either be hand-written or printed.
- The prices mentioned on the product are inclusive of GST.
- We reserve the right to change, modify the price of the products listed on the website at any given point in time.
- In case there is an issue with any particular product, we will facilitate communication with the vendor and take a lead in resolving the issue on priority.
- For gift boxes containing live plants, we recommend the customers to open the box and the plant carefully. Although, while packing the box and the plant we will take appropriate measures to avoid the soil spill during transit, but in case of any spill we recommend customers to put back the soil and water it with love so that it retains its shape in a day or two
Order related communications: Email and SMS:
- After placing your order with us, you will receive a confirmation Email, SMS or both on your registered Email ID and phone number within the next 12 hours.
- We will keep you notified on all the delivery milestones like Order confirmation, Order dispatched, Order out for delivery and Delivered status through Email, SMS or both.
- The customer agrees to receive communication on delivery, order status, offers, and promotions by signing up on this website.
- When you place an order, you make an offer to purchase and such an order is subject to confirmation from The Gift Affair.
- At any point in time, even after we have shared the order confirmation, we reserve the right to cancel, suspend the order. In such a scenario, we will inform you about order cancellation and you would be provided with a refund as per our (return/refund policy).
- In case, you would like to modify/cancel an order, you may contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We would respond within the next 48 hours of placing the request.
- The Gift Affair would be able to entertain any such request, only if we have not started preparing the order. If the order is prepared or out for delivery, we may not be able to take the cancellation/modification requests and you will be charged for the order.
Shipping and Delivery policy:
- Order delivery is subjected to the payment being credited in companies' account. The order shall be processed once the payment is received and acknowledged.
- We will be shipping your order as soon as the order is received and confirmed by us. The estimated delivery time depends on product availability and the location of delivery. Delivery may take longer in case of bad weather, political disruptions or any other unforeseen situations.
- In case of delay in delivery, we will proactively reach out to the customer intimating him/her about the reason and update on delivery.
- You will receive 'Out for Delivery' Email/SMS notification on the day of delivery. In case of non-availability of the recipient, we will attempt the delivery one more time.
- We will not be responsible for the loss of the package if the address provided is wrong or incomplete. In case of any dispute on shipping, we will provide the proof of delivery to the customer.
- As it is a weekly off for courier companies on every Sunday, order which is placed on Sunday, would be dispatched on next day,i.e. Monday.
- In case you have placed duplicate orders by mistake, please write to us at email@example.com within 4 hours of placing the order. You are supposed to share the details of the duplicate transaction and we will reach out to you within the next 48 hours.
- In case we identify a duplicate order, we will contact the customer to confirm the same.
- Upon placing an order with us, you agree to pay the price of the product listed on the website.
- The customer is liable to pay all taxes (other than taxes based on our company's income), fees, duties, charges levied by the government, and any related penalties and interest, arising from the purchase of the products and services (Taxes) not withheld by The Gift Affair.
- All payments are non-refundable except the cases which have been mentioned in the Terms and Conditions. The Gift Affair also reserves the right to charge the late fees on all pending payments on a monthly basis as allowed by the applicable law. In such case, you shall be responsible to pay for the attorney's fees and any other court costs.
Feedback and Suggestions:
- As a responsible company we value our customers feedback and inputs. In case of any suggestions/feedback please write to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Returns and Refund Policy:
- The Gift Affair does not allow any returns. However, in the case of damaged product has been sent, please write to us at email@example.com within the next 48 hours of receiving the product.
- Upon receiving the complaint, we will reach out to you for getting more details on the issue.
- As a responsible company, we will take ownership of the issue raised and provide quick resolution to the customer.
- We do not guarantee refund for the below-mentioned cases:
- The order is delivered to a wrong address provided by the customer.
- Unsuccessful deliveries due to the absence of the receiver at the time of delivery. The Gift Affair will attempt the delivery one more time in such cases.
- A refund is only allowed if the request is made within 48 hours of receiving the product.
- In case the order is canceled/modified from our side, we would refund you the required amount within next 7-10 working days.
- Online refund is credited to the source account from which the purchase is made. It may take up to 7-10 working days.
- Any type of exchange is not allowed by The Gift Affair after the sale is made.
- The Gift Affair collects your personal identifiable data when you visit our website. As a user you will perform many activities on our website and in order to provide services to you, we may collect your contact information such as name, email, phone, address. We may also collect your profile information, your order information and your interaction with the website.
- We value the trust you have placed in us and The Gift Affair does not share, rent or sell your data, such as personal data, payment related details, etc. with any third party for commercial use. Also, we at The Gift Affair store your data in highly secured servers for providing complete security to your data.
- In special cases like any legal issues or a lawful request by a public agency, The Gift Affair may share the data with the requesting party.
- As a customer you may navigate our website for browsing but in order to place an order, we would require you to register with us.
- We may also use your contact details to send out offers specially crafted for your shopping needs. You may unsubscribe from our newsletters/offer emails etc. at any point in time by clicking the ‘Unsubscribe’ link in the respective emails.
- As our registered user, you will have access to update your profile details on our website. You may change your phone number, email address and other details as and when required. Also, if you wish to de-register your account from our website, you must drop us an email on firstname.lastname@example.org.
